Shipping Policy
Each saree is folded in muslin, packed at the atelier, and handed to a courier. Timelines move with weather, festivals, and the road — we would rather be honest than precise.
Where we ship
We ship across India wherever our courier can reach. Enter your pincode at checkout — we will tell you simply if the pin is available or not. We do not promise cash-on-delivery, a clock, or a calendar date at that step.
How long it usually takes
Most Indian orders leave the atelier within a couple of working days and find you around a week later. Remote or festive periods can take longer. International parcels, when offered, travel farther still. These are gentle expectations, not guarantees.
Tracking
Once a parcel leaves us, we email a tracking link. After that, the courier’s own map is the source of truth. If anything feels quiet for too long, write to hello@museofthanu.com.
Duties & packing
Domestic shipping is typically prepaid with the order. Any international duties or taxes, if they apply, sit with the recipient. We pack with care; we cannot pack against an incorrect address.
